SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — This week is recognized as Severe Weather Preparedness Week in the state of Georgia by the National Weather Service. This week is an opportunity to learn more about what severe weather impacts Georgia and what to do when severe weather strikes before we get into our typical spring severe weather season.
