Kostensuchus atrox was a croc-like predator with a sinister smile and more than fifty serrated teeth that lived about 70 million years ago. Scientists say it was a hypercarnivore, and although the alligators of today are larger predators, evidence suggests it hunted dinosaurs in ancient Patagonia.
