While not every release is cinematically impressive, every release is important! This young Glaucous-winged Gull was found here in Sitka after being clipped by a car. Fortunately, after a quick check-up, it turned out they were just a bit stunned from the impact. After an hour of rest and observation, this lucky gull was ready to head back to the wild! The release may not have been dramatic, but it’s a wonderful reminder that even the simplest recoveries make a big difference. #FreedomFriday #Gu
